I've been riding in these shoes for over a year now and I am really happy with them. They do take a little bit to get used to an adjusted properly, but once I had done that, I have been really thrilled with these shoes. They are really comfortable and my have not had any issues during Ironmans or really long training sessions. The wind tunnel testing speaks for itself, but these shoes are really fast and I highly recommend them.
So far so good. Takes a minute to figure out how to use and tighten. Very comfortable. Definitely a big longer in length than my other shoes due to the device at the back. They do run a bit large as other reviewers said, at least the metric sizing (the US sizing does seem a closer match). Overall, recommend.
These caught my eye as I'm trying to be more efficient in T1. They are way more comfortable than the Fizik's I came from. Yes, they do take a bit to setup, however these have better comfort for my feet with a higher arch that i can actually feel supporting my foot. Looking forward to flying starts and shaving some T1 time. Shipping time to Hawaii was phenomenal as well.
The look and feel of the shoe is amazing. They do run a little big, so I had to down size. I look forward to many miles with these shoes!
I have been watching the development of these shoes for years on social media, SlowTwitch, etc. and have always been curious. With the Black Friday sale I decided to finally take the leap.
First, the build quality of the shoes are great. Well crafted, no rough edges or areas that look unfinished. I'm a huge fan of the fact that many parts of the shoe, including the wire system, lever system, and heal plate are all replaceable as they wear over time. The nose and heal seem pretty durable, so they hopefully hold up better to hitting the ground in dismounts than other shoes.
The one piece that could still use refinement, is packing. The shoe box that they came in was quite large, much larger than needed for the shoes. I understand using one size box for all shoes to save on overhead costs but the packing material inside was pretty nonexistent so the shoes were just tumbling around in there.
Outside of that everything has been awesome.
